Staff Scientist, Geisinger Behavioral Insights Team (BIT)
The Geisinger Behavioral Insights Team (BIT) is looking for a new Staff Scientist with expertise in behavioral science research. A postdoctoral fellow version of this role is also a possibility, for someone seeking a time-limited position prior to going on the academic market.
The BIT conducts large pragmatic randomized trials of behavioral science-informed interventions to improve health outcomes, with work published/forthcoming in Nature Human Behaviour, PNAS, JAMA Network Open, and JAMIA Open. This is a great opportunity to transition to industry while staying connected to the scientific community (publications, conferences including SJDM, grants, open science).
The position can be based in Danville, PA, or remote from another US location for exceptional candidates. Unfortunately, we cannot support visa sponsorship for this position.
